We at EWHP hope that you and yours have had a peaceful Advent, marvelous Christmas and a light-filled Epiphany! We’re excited about a brand-new year full of energy and good things to anticipate in 2013.

You might be looking in your in-box for your January Timelines email, and in this post, we wanted to give you an idea of what’s going on this month behind the scenes.

Timelines. Your board is continuing discussions concerning Timelines, specifically, what should our publication schedule look like? In this time of instant information, a quarterly might seem too little, but it’s not always easy to have enough material to offer something substantial on a monthly basis.  For now, we’ll try bi-monthly and see how that works.

We’d love to know your thoughts on this. As always, please do send us your ideas and news items – we’d be thrilled to share your excitement with the world!

Board Conference Call. The EWHP Board will meet by conference call on January 28, 2013 to discuss a number of business items. One of our topics will be filling the board seats becoming vacant in June. Do you feel called to serve on the EWHP Board? If you’re interested in serving in this capacity, we’d love to talk with you about it. Please email episcopalwomenshistory@gmail.com and we’ll be in touch!

Remember to use our link to Amazon when you’re shopping (we get a little bit from every sale), help our cause by joining EWHP….and keep an eye on your in-box in early February for more news – please keep us in your prayers and know that we are grateful for your support!

  1. I’m glad to hear from you all! In Memphis I had submitted my name to be a part of the group but never heard anything .. I think you are on the right road with this email and other electronic items .. and I hope to hear from you again … I think the bi-monthly idea is good as it is hard to write so much for a monthly newsletter, unless each parish member submits something every month and overwhelms your editor!
